Despite their name, Slot is a gambling machine with rotating mechanical reels. Originally, slot machines featured five reels, but manufacturers soon made three-reel machines that were more reliable and simpler. Today, most slot machines have between nine and twenty-five paylines. In addition, most of them accept variable credits, ranging from one to fifteen. The higher the credit bet, the larger the payout. But beware! Multi-line slots can be dangerous!

To create a winning utterance, a user needs to map a slot to an entity. These entities can be built-in or custom, such as date or number of rooms required. The user can add slots to a given utterance by selecting the Slots or Uterance tab, and then type in the name of the slot. The bot will then identify the slot and map it to the entity. If the utterance is not matched to a specific slot type, the user can create a new one.

When selecting a pay table, make sure to click the Allow Synonyms checkbox. It allows you to add synonyms to slot values. In addition, you can choose whether to add a phrase as the slot value. The synonyms will be listed on the machine’s face. Older machines display these tables on the upper and lower sides of the wheels, but video slot machines display them in the help menu. In a few clicks, you can change the slot value’s meaning, as many times as you like.
